Powder dosing unit - sf series

The loss-in-weight feeders of the SF series are suitable for dosing free-flowing powders. The product enters into the hopper manually or through a butterfly valve. A built-in mixer helps to feed the screw so as to avoid problems during the downward movement of the material. A weighing system with load cell measures any weight variation in real time. The required throughput is obtained by changing the speed of the screw which is driven by a motor with inverter. A Siemens PLC controls from 1 to 8 dosing stations.
